Can I read a QR code without a phone?: Yes. Choose or paste its image into this reader on a PC or Mac. The decoded text appears without opening any link.
What formats can I scan?: QR, UPC-A, UPC-E, EAN-13, EAN-8, Code 128, Code 39, ITF and Data Matrix. JPG, PNG and WebP are good choices; other image types depend on browser support.
Can I read several codes?: Choose multiple images for a batch. Each image is checked for one code. Crop a separate picture for each symbol, preserving its blank margin.
Why does the camera stop?: After a successful capture, the camera stops and a confirmation appears. Vibration is enabled where the browser supports it. Choose Scan another to continue; the same code will reuse its existing result.
Does a barcode identify a product?: The reader extracts the encoded number. A store may find a match when you choose a shopping search. If Amazon returns no match, enter a product name in Amazon search terms. Product names, authenticity and prices are not verified by this tool.
Does this work offline?: The first load needs a connection. Scanning runs locally after the library loads, but offline availability is not guaranteed.
